Held at the Hallettsville Senior Citizens Center this event is open to any adults who like food! Come spend a few hours getting new recipe ideas. Tickets are limited!  $15 per person -available at the Extension Office. Please purchase in advance. 4-H Spring Shooting Sports Mandatory Meeting

Lavaca County 4-H Shooting Sports will hold its registration and mandatory orientation meeting on March 8 at Appelt’s Hill Gun Club Hall, 4071 County Road 204 north of Hallettsville at 6:30 pm.  This will be for first time participants in the 3rd to the 12 grade.  It is mandatory that new members attend.  Instruction will be given by certified 4-H instructors.  There will be no make- up registration or orientation. Lavaca County 4-H Council – March 21-note date change!

Date and Time Change! The March County Council Meeting will be held on March 21st instead of March 14th to avoid conflicts with Spring Break and the Food Challenge at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We will meet at 7:00 instead of 6:30 so as to not conflict with the regular meeting of Lucky H 4-H.
