Kid’s Health Party is a partnership with the Texas Department of State Health Services that brings all of the fifth grade students in Lavaca County together annually for a one day nutrition and fitness related health fair. The students spend the day attending twenty minute sessions in ten booths. The 17th Annual Kid’s Health Party was held on October 6, 2021 at the Hallettsville Knights of Columbus Hall. Booths were:

Protein – taught by Denise Goeble, DeWitt County Family and Community Health Agent
Vegetables – taught by Master Naturalist
Fruits – taught by Master Wellness Volunteers
Glo Germ Handwashing – Victoria College Nursing Students
Grains – Victoria College Nursing Students
Kickboxing – Lavaca Medical Center
Proper Stretching – Complete Hometown Physical Therapy
Obstacle Course – Lavaca Medical Center and Victoria College Nursing Student
Dairy – Victoria College Nursing Students
