Families Reading Every Day is a reading program designed to get families reading together every day. Participants log their daily reading time and are encouraged to read for 15 minutes a day for two weeks and then 30 minutes a day for the next two weeks. Participants successfully completing a 28 day session (the session begins when you sign up) will be awarded completion certificates. This program will be offered year around by the Lavaca County AgriLife Extension office and is currently in cooperation with the Yoakum and Shiner libraries. To join FRED
1)Go to FRED and register an adult parent or guardian
2)Create a child profile for each child that will participate. There is no age limit –this is open to teenagers, too!
3)Enter the appropriate join code.
Yoakum Library- the join code is CMWLibrary77995
