There will be a Food Handler’s Certification Course taught from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27.  All employees working in retail and institutional food establishments must have the certification within thirty days of hire.  The class will be taught in the Conference Room of the Texas AgriLife Extension Office at 300 S. LaGrange Street in Hallettsville.  Pre-registration is required as space is limited.  The class is $20. Make checks payable to Lavaca Home Economics Committee.  To pre-register call 361-798-2221.
